Scoop It: It's The Law
Put a lid on it; scoop your melts! We have really built our products with the idea of using each and every part of the product. Of course, implementing this idea was easy with our candle line but we really struggled a bit with our melts. They typically come in convenient little molds that pop right out with the right amount but the unfortunate part was that it came in plastic. The plastic clamshell molds are accepted by most curb side recycling services but I figured, if a customer is buying it for convenience, they most likely aren't rinsing them out or taking them to a recycling center if their curb side service didn't accept it. So we were left with the problem of how do we make it worth it for the customer along with being environmentally sound eliminating as much waste as possible?

Why not put the melts in a reusable glass container with the ability to scoop out how much or how little you wanted to melt and still fall under the 'dual gifting' category and be convenient? These wonderful glass containers are clean, fresh and modern with a touch of whimiscal charm. Once the melts are gone, wash out and run in the dishwasher and you have a piece to reuse for jam, butter, honey, salt or sugar, a cupcake for special celebrations, loose powder for your makeup vanity, store lipsticks, decor for a sweet centerpiece or treasured pieces that you would like to showcase. Use the container and the lid together or as separates; the ideas are limitless.
More value, less in the landfill.
